تجسيد انتصارات الإمبراطور أغسطس التاريخية في الفن بولاية إسبانيا

المستخلص
شهدت بداية عصر أغسطس (27ق.م-14م ) صراعًا فريدًا من نوعه في تاريخ إسبانيا باعتباره حملة مخططة ومنظمة، وقد نتج عن هذا الصراع إخضاع القبائل، واستكمال غزو شبه الجزيرة الإيبيرية بعد قرنين من الزمان، والحق أن أغسطس لم يحقق نصرًا حاسمًا في حملته العسكرية بإسبانيا (26-25ق.م)، بل كان ما حققه أجريبا في عام 19ق.م النصر النهائي، ورغم ذلك حسم تصوير الصراع في المصادر الأدبية والفنية المعاصرة نجاح أغسطس العسكري بشكل نهائي، ويبدو أن وجود أغسطس في الحملة كان مدفوعًا باعتبارات سياسية وأيديولوجية، ويبرر ذلك التسوية الدستورية التي توصل إليها مع مجلس السناتو في عام 27ق.م، والتي أكدت تفوقه العسكري المستمر، وبرنامجه المعلن للتهدئة، ومن ثم يستهدف البحث التغيرات السياسية والعسكرية في ولاية إسبانيا خلال عصر أغسطس، إذا لم تحظ الحملات الإسبانية "حرب كانتابريا" في عصر أغسطس باهتمام كافٍ سواء في المصادر الأدبية، أو في الفن، فقد ذكر زانكر، أن الحرب الكانتابرية لم يُحتفل بها في الفن، ولكن التهدئة كانت نتيجة النصر، وبالتالي فإن الاحتفال بإحلال السلام في إسبانيا هو احتفال بالنصر العسكري، وقد لعب دوره في تغذية صور نظام أغسطس مثل بقية انتصاراته، كذلك تطورت صورة إسبانيا وشعبها في الفن بالطريقة ذاتها التي تطورت بها في الأدب.
