Abstract

 The ancient Egyptian texts listed many of the effects that result from the escape of a person and the consequences of himself, such as arrest and trial, imprisonment, murder, erasure of existence, stigmatization with cowardice, cursing or even blindness, and his feeling of remorse and misfortune. As for the family of the fugitive and his neighbors, this ensued. Many things, such as stripping of employment, exile, imprisonment for the family, or punishment for a cover-up for a fugitive, and finally a royal pardon for some of the escapees:
