Abstract

In the index of civilized terms used by the Moroccan traveler Ibn Battuta (d. 770 AH - 1369 AD), we find a mention of the word Jamour twice, and by returning to the first volume of the journey published by the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco, we find that the margin No. seven of the third chapter related to Egypt is spoken by (Shahdour al-Abdari by al-Abdari). D. 688 AH 1289 AD), at the head of the historic Minar of Alexandria during his Hejaz journey, is the Alexandrian minaret on whose base is the Qaitbay Castle in Alexandria, which Abdul Wahed al-Marrakchi remembered in his book (The admirer) when he spoke about the minaret of Hassan in Rabat and said that it was in the form of the minaret of Alexandria.
