Abstract

The Nineteenth Dynasty, which ruled from (1320 - 1200 BC) and includes the pharaohs: Ramses I - Seti I - Ramses II (the subject of research) - Merneptah - Amenemsi - Seti II - Si Ptah - Tausert. Ramses II: (1290 - 1223 BC) .. Which was called: (Waser Maat Ra Step In Ra) Ramesses II Meri Amun and was also called: Maat Ra - Tet Ra, Secret Maat Ra - Haqawast, and Sir Maat Ra Aa Ra. He assumed power with his father, King Seti I, when he was young, and he was not more than sixteen years old. It seems that Ramses II began his rule as a partner of his father Seti I on the throne, for a period of more than three years at least, and it seems that there was a kind of division of burdens and responsibility, King Seti I took over foreign affairs, especially in Asia, while Ramses II took over internal affairs In Egypt, the date of the ascension of Ramses II, King of Egypt, is 1290 B.C.
