Ports on the western coast of the province of Cyrene in the classical era

Abstract

The western coast of the Koreaniya region of the targeted study starts from the city of Benghazi (Yousspesperides -Brenke) and ends when the mountain entry in the sea after Talmathia, about 25 km and extends 125km, like a triangle the largest area of it at Beneghazi 25km,It decreases by 4 km at the Arsino-Taucheira tour, and this coast continues as a strip that gradually decreases until it enters the mountain into the sea after Talmathia.
We excluded in this study the western coast, which lies west of Benghazi and continues to the Gulf of Sidra, due to the lack of well-defined harbors in this part so far. Therefore, the study area includes the area between Benghazi and Talamitha.
